Optare donates Solo to museum

Optare has supplied a specially customised Solo to London Transport Museum’s new children’s play zone. The All Aboard area at the Covent Garden based museum allows kids to play on a mini fleet of vehicles and dress up in uniforms to become drivers, mechanics, cleaners, station announcers and riverboat captains. It has been designed for children up to seven years. Admission to London Transport Museum is free for children and young people aged 17 and under and adult tickets can be used for an unlimited number of visits for a whole year. Adult annual passes cost £16 (£13.50 concessions). The museum is holding two special family events over Easter (weekdays, 30 March to 17 April), which incorporate the play zone.
