Nottingham Community Transport has teamed up with social enterprise Space Inclusive to transport young adults with learning disabilities and learning difficulties to training programmes and courses in Nottingham. Space Inclusive is an East Midlands based social enterprise committed to improving the lives and prospects of people with learning disabilities and learning difficulties by offering appropriate and aspirational opportunities. The organisation provides programmes for young adults with learning disabilities who have a personal budget. As well as replacing the taxis previously used, Nottingham CT has taken on two youngsters who use Space Inclusive, Ryan and Warren, as apprentices at the Sherwood depot carrying out light maintenance duties on vehicles once a week .
