Paramount moves

Paramount Conversions is moving on 30 November to Riverview Commercial Park, Tullamore, Co.Offaly, just off the N52 Cloncollig roundabout. The relocation is intended to give the company the space it needs to grow into.

£60,000 Truro bus lane closed

Cornwall Council has suspended the 300m inbound bus lane at Tregolls Road between Tresillian and Truro. According to press reports, the infrastructure opened on 2 November but caused journey times to triple to 21 minutes. Costing £60,000 to implement, it is part of the city’s £12m park and ride scheme.

Exeter coach station to close

Exeter’s coach station at Paris Street is planned to close from September 2016. The City Council does not currently plan to provide an alternative for visiting coaches to the city. New Newport niggles

Further to the news that Newport’s new Friars Walk bus station will open later than planned, it has been reported that Newport Bus has said on Twitter it has not been given enough stands to run its new services from. It has been allotted ten spaces, according to news sites, yet it runs more services than that. A spokesperson from the Friars Walk bus station developers, Queensberry Real Estate, said it is working with its contractors with an aim of getting the site finished by the end of the month.
