New Van Hools delivered
Despite the absorption of Van Hool into VDL, a trickle of Van Hool deliveries are still being made to operators in the UK.
Scottish operator Woods Coaches of Tillycoultry has received the first Van Hool coaches – an EX15M and two EX11Hs – with an Allison fully automatic gearbox. All are DAF powered with the MX11 engine. The EX15M is a 49-seater and the two EX11H are 30/41-seaters, with a small kitchen in the rear and four tables between seats. The coaches are shown with Jimmy Wood.
Meanwhile, Bibby’s of Ingleton has a new T Series Alicron with DAF MX11engine and ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox. It’s a full executive T15 with rack doors, centre demountable toilet, boiler, in-dash fridge, LCD monitors, pa system and radio, aircon, double-glazed, tinted windows, curtains, and camera mirrors.
