New look for Arriva

Arriva has introduced a new look and logo, which will be introduced as part of a phased roll out as vehicles and other items are being refreshed or replenished.

The livery is a brighter, lighter turquoise, giving a fresh look to the colour scheme which has been around now for twenty years. The key brands, Sapphire, Max and Frequenta will also be re-liveried, but it hasn’t yet been confirmed whether the brands themselves will remain.

The new logo has received mixed reviews but retains the intertwined wheels which now form a capital A. It is expected to be officially rolled out in 2018

Gill Singh, Marketing and NPD Director, Arriva Bus, said, ‘The Arriva brand is now some 20 years old and works well for Arriva across a range of transport markets. However, our logo has changed little since 1997 so we are introducing, on a low cost and evolutionary basis, a refresh to our identity that retains the essence of Arriva and supports our growth plans.’

looks a bit kak tbh. DB fiddling around to much. New logo looks like it belongs on a creche sign not a bus.
