New Busforus website

Parliamentary Under Secretary for Transport, Norman Baker, is to launch the industry’s enhanced Busforus website next Wednesday in Brighton. The launch is taking place on a Brighton & Hove bus outside the Railway Station. Also joining for the event and supporting the Busforus initiative is actress and youth campaigner, Brooke Kinsella. The launch, which will include short speeches from the Minister, Giles Fearnley and Brooke.

New features on the improved site include scheduled and real time departures for all buses serving each of the UK’s 400,000 plus bus stops; next departures, with links to operator profile pages, for selected bus stops; easy to view maps showing your location, arrival times and bus stops along specified routes; detailed service and departure information for the entire London bus network; and links to relevant Passenger Transport Executive websites.
