NatEx increasing network coverage

National Express is increasing its coach network coverage across the UK, including a new overnight service from Bradford to London.

The news follows a separate announcement that it is introducing faster journey times on its 540 coach service between Manchester and London, with journey times reduced by up to 30 minutes.

Ahead of the summer holidays, National Express has introduced a new daily 466 service connecting major cities across Yorkshire with Birmingham Airport, Heathrow Airport and London. Departing from Bradford, the 466 service calls at Leeds, Sheffield, Chesterfield, Derby, Birmingham Airport and Heathrow Airport before heading to London.

National Express says the introduction of the service follows a surge in customers last year, with over 19 million customers travelling on its coach network in 2023, a 25% patronage increase on 2022’s 15 million.

National Express also continues to invest in its fleet, with 150 new vehicles expected to hit the roads this year.
