Moseley Distributors soon to open again

Jim Tweedie, MD of Moseley Distributors, has confirmed the dealership is soon to open again.

The Airdrie-based business has retained a small staff, working every Tuesday and Thursday during the lockdown. The plan is to continue this until it is able to fully reopen. Jim hopes to bring back most of its staff within three to four weeks, subject to the government’s advice, and return as far as possible to normal trading.

Currently, parts are still available from VDL and Van Hool, but with potentially slower delivery times. Orders and collections can be arranged by calling 01236 750501. Similar arrangements are in place to allow minor repairs to be carried out.

It has put in place measures to keep customers and staff safe, including placing orders by telephone, with customers phoning on arrival before collecting the goods from the porch area. Sales staff will not be visiting customers currently. Test droves are still available, but it will be required that the two metre distancing rule will be adhered to. All vehicles will be cleaned and disinfected after use, with all hard surfaces wiped down.
