Morebus routes are Premium Journeys
Go-Ahead Group-owned Morebus routes, the Breezer and New Forest Tour services, have received a Premium Journey rating by an independent auditor.
The local bus operator was reviewed by https://www.greatscenicjourneys.co.uk/, which was set up to help transform, promote and accredit the collection of scenic transport routes across the UK and beyond.
All reviews follow detailed scoring criteria and provide recommendations for even further improvement. Feedback in this latest report included comments about the branding being excellent, information on bus stops being first class, and actual delivery – both mechanically in the vehicles and in the appearance and manner of the driving – being excellent. The audit included all elements of the Breezer and New Forest Tour journey, from planning a trip using the website, phoning customer services and visiting Morebus’ travel shop, to taking several trips onboard at different times of the day and paying for tickets in numerous ways.
In the report, the reviewer also mentioned the standard of care shown by the drivers, which was exemplary: “The care shown by a driver to a person on a mobility scooter boarding with her carer in taking out the ramp for them to board and alight on their scooter was the best I have ever seen – it was quite moving to see this.”
