More media attention highlights industry’s dire straits

More media attention has been given to coach operators that are making the industry’s plight known.

Jenna Rush from North East Coach Travel has appeared on BBC Breakfast telling of how a fellow operator lost his business due to the coronavirus. Jenna has been one of the key organisers of the Honk for Hope coach demonstrations taking place across the country.

Additionally, Braintree-based Flagfinders has appeared on Braintree and Witham Times’ website, where its Director, Jon Powell, made known the danger the company faces currently. He noted his operation lost 80% of its work overnight due to the coronavirus lockdown.
