M&D Travel adds Irizar i6s Efficient

Stockton-on-Tees-based M&D Travel has added an Irizar Integral i6s Efficient coach to its fleet.

At 12.9m long, the new coach is equipped with 53 passenger seats. Each seat is equipped with a seat back table and USB connectivity. Other passenger amenities include a drinks machine and a washroom located in the central stairwell.

The coach is propelled by a DAF MX11 300kw OBD-E 408hp engine coupled to ZF’s EcoLife Coachline gearbox.

M&D Travel requested that the vehicle be built to full PSVAR standards, including a Masats semi-automatic wheelchair lift located in the luggage compartment and Hanover destination equipment to the front, side and rear of the vehicle. Entertainment is provided by the Bosch Smart Series audio-visual system and Actia DVD player supplied with two monitors.
