Maynes go for Van Hool again

Following on from its order earlier this year for four DAF Van Hool TXs, Maynes of Buckie has announced it has ordered another two coaches from the Belgian manufacturer. It has again placed its order with Arriva Bus and Coach. The £550,000 worth of new DAF Van Hool TX16 coaches are for the 2015 season. Built to the customer’s specification, they will feature 53 seats, full air conditioning, a toilet, hot and cold drinks facilities and an onboard entertainment system. The new coaches will also be fitted with an onboard vacuum and coach wash facilities. Maynes already has seven Van Hool TX coaches. More fleet upgrades may be finalised at Euro Bus Expo, which will see some additional coaches arriving for early 2015.
