Liverpool sightseeing tour rebranded
City Sightseeing Liverpool has been rebranded to ‘Sightseeing Liverpool‘. The Liverpool operator has left the City Sightseeing franchise. City Sightseeing (worldwide) no longer sell tickets on their behalf and the operator does not accept their tickets. Run by City Xplora, the hop-on hop-off bus tour operation has been re-launched in time for the tourist season. Each open-top bus on the route features a live English speaking tour guide who can inform and entertain the passengers. Destinations on the tour include the Royal Liver Building; the Cavern Club, where The Beatles played 292 times; Albert Dock and Liverpool Chinatown.
Sightseeing Liverpool’s Tour Manager, Malcolm Beard, said, ‘Liverpool Tourism increases every year and [it] really boost’s the local economy. 2015 is set to be no exception’. He added that ‘with over 50 Cruise Ship’s visiting this year, and events such as: On The Waterfront, Summer Pops, International Beatles Week, Comedy and Music Festivals, and the Liverpool International Tennis Tournament, we’re expecting to see a surge in interest. Our city also features two magnificent cathedrals and the world famous Liverpool One Shopping Centre, where all the latest fashions start from. Sightseeing Liverpool will show you what Liverpool is all about. The buses have been liveried with a Liverpool Waterfront scene, that is, three of the city’s iconic buildings run the full length on both sides of the bright red buses. There’s also a specially designed “Liver Bird” that has received fantastic comments already from tourists and locals alike.’
