Ticketer adds Leasing options added for contactless
Ticketer is launching new leasing solutions for upgrades to Ticketer Electronic Ticket Machines (ETMs) and Handheld ticket machines to enable contactless payments for passengers.
According to Ticketer, there is growing demand for public transport operators to provide contactless payment choices, with passengers are increasingly expecting alternatives to cash when paying for travel. The latest leasing solution from Ticketer provides operators with new ways of being able to provide this. The company says the new offering presents greater flexibility and allows operators to manage their cashflow, while still getting all the benefits of their contactless ETM or Handheld ticket machine.
Providing both short- and long-term leasing alternatives, Ticketer’s leasing solutions deliver a valuable offering to the industry, especially in light of the recent changes to the Covid-19 Bus Services Support Grant (CBSSG) to accommodate qualifying payments.
Antonio Carmona, International General Manager and UK Head of Sales at Ticketer, said: “Over the last 12 months, we have seen a rapid increase in the number of requests from our customers wanting contactless upgrades to their ETMs. And even more so now that there is potential CBSSG upside. By presenting these new leasing solutions to operators, we hope that it will open up ETM upgrade possibilities, without having to make the upfront capital investment.”
