Landmark Volvo order for Park’s of Hamilton

Park’s of Hamilton is set to take delivery of 15 fully integral Volvo 9700 and 9900 coaches early in 2022. Continuing the relationship between Volvo Bus and the operator, the order represents Park’s of Hamilton’s first intake of Volvo’s complete coach offering.

The order includes nine PSVAR compliant 9700s on the B11R chassis with 53 seats. The vehicles primary use will be touring operations, but they will offer the flexibility that is essential to Park’s of Hamilton’s diverse operating model. The operator is also to receive six high-specification 9900s, also on the B11R chassis, in a mix of 13.1m and 13.9m lengths. Their addition ot the fleet is part of the company’s upgrade of its Corporate/VIP/Elite Sports Team coaches.

The vehicles will be supported by Volvo North & Scotland at Blantyre.
