K&P Coaches and Llew Jones win Traws Cymru pilot
K&P Coaches and Llew Jones have won the contract to operate a new Traws Cymru service in Wales.
The new pilot T10 Traws Cymru bus service will run from Bangor to Corwen. It is designed to provide a more sustainable way of travelling in and around Snowdonia National Park.
Over the next 12 months, the T10 bus service, funded by Transport for Wales, will operate between Bangor and Corwen calling at all stops along the way. Connections with the existing T3 service in Corwen will allow passengers to continue their journey on to Llangollen and Wrexham.
The T10 service runs daily from early morning to mid-evening.
Traws Cymru provided journeys free of charge during the first two weeks of operation. It is hoped the service will encourage residents and tourists to leave their cars behind and take the bus to visit popular rural destinations such as Betws y Coed, Llyn Ogwen and Capel Curig.
