Kleanbus to hold investor event
Bus re-power specialist Kleanbus is hosting an investor event tomorrow (14 September).
The event is to give insight into the company’s electrification technology, explore its market opportunities and allow attendees the chance to meet its team. Held at the IMechE Building in London, Kleanbus plans to showcase why and how it is leading the charge with its re-power solutions.
At the Kleanbus investor event, guests will have the opportunity to explore the company’s re-powering technology and receive an insight into why the business believes replacing diesel engines with its ‘ePowertrain Module’ solution for a fully electric powertrain is the fastest and most cost-effective method to achieve a zero-emission bus fleet.
With an upcycle and testing process that Kleanbus says takes less than two weeks per bus (following the development of an initial prototype), which it believes presents a quick and ideal solution to transitioning diesel buses to electric power, without the associated cost barriers.
Through Kleanbus technology, fully electric bus fleets could be realised six years earlier than relying solely on new zero-emission buses, according to Kleanbus. It claims this would potentially save over 4 million tons of CO2 and reduce emissions by up to 80% across a vehicle’s lifecycle.
