Kleanbus makes appointment before repower roll-out
Kleanbus has appointed former London Stock Exchange Senior Counsel, Dan Marcus, as a corporate and strategic advisor ahead of the commercial roll-out of its ‘Repowering’ offering this spring.
Dan joins the Kleanbus team to offer strategic and business advice on corporate development as the company continues to build its offering towards commercial roll-out this spring, working closely with technology, finance and infrastructure partners, regulators, government and local authorities.
Dan previously spent almost 13 years at Tradition, one of the world’s largest inter-dealer brokers. While at Tradition, Dan was instrumental in the creation of two consortium-based electronic trading platforms – Trad-X and ParFX – holding the role of CEO of both before becoming co-head of Tradition’s London EMEA managed business. Dan is a qualified solicitor and served as Senior Counsel for the London Stock Exchange between 2000 and 2007, responsible for regulatory, IT, corporate and commercial legal work.
Kleanbus is to re-power older diesel PCVs by replacing the engine with a zero-emission electric powertrain, which it says is at a fifth of the cost and in a fraction of the time of buying a new electric bus
