Jason Edwards Travel chooses Stertil Koni

Jason Edwards Travel has chosen Stertil-Koni’s mobile column lifts to enhance efficiency and safety at its new workshop near Heathrow.

The supplied lifts consist of six Stertil-Koni ST1075FSA mobile columns with a combined lifting capacity of 30 tonnes. The columns feature the ebright Smart Control System, which allows engineers to operate the lifts either individually or simultaneously through touchscreen consoles.

The company also invested in a range of axle stands in various sizes. These stands offer versatility, enabling free wheel support when the mobile columns are removed or providing additional stability during lift operations.

Safety and precision are integral to the lifts’ design. Each column is equipped with an independent mechanical locking system to securely hold vehicles in place and a microprocessor-controlled synchronisation feature designed to ensure smooth, accurate lifting. They have a lifting speed of 75 seconds to reach a height of 1.85 metres; powered by a standard 415V supply.
