Irizar (UK) gets new MD

Irizar (UK)’s new Managing Director, Andrew Blundell, brings over 25 years of experience in the transport and logistics sectors to the post. He was most recently Transport Development Director at leading British logistics company Bibby Distribution, but also has specific coach-industry experience from his time as Operations Director at Alfa Travel of Chorley.

Other famous names on his CV include XPO/Norbert Dentressangle, Isotrak and Royal Mail. His experience spans the operational, commercial and strategic spheres. Andrew Blundell said: “I am excited to be joining such a highly-professional organisation as Irizar. The company’s values and ethics align with my own principles and approach to business.

Andrew Blundell is married with two teenage children, and is proud of his Lancastrian roots, being Fleetwood born and bred and a Fleetwood Town season ticket holder. He currently lives in Chorley.
