Irizar i6S Efficient Hydrogen wins Spanish award

Irizar’s new i6S Efficient Hydrogen has won the 2024 Coach of the Year in Spain award.

The coach was launched at last year’s Busworld International Fair in Brussels. It is expected to have a range of up to 1,000km, be capable of refuelling in around 20 minutes and offer the capability to run in electric mode for short distances.

Imanol Rego, CEO of the Irizar Group, and Mikel Perez, the Irizar Commercial Director for Spain and Portugal, received the prize at the awards ceremony in Madrid.
