Honk for Hope returning to London
Honk for Hope UK is coming to London for the second time on Tuesday 1 September 2020.
This will be the sixth coach demo in two months, which the UK has seen. Last time the rally came to London it had 420 coaches in attendance from all over the UK. The organisers are hoping for the same amount again, hopefully more. The coaches will travel through the capital in six convoys, making their way in from various service areas from outside of London. The convoy system will be in place in an effort to minimise the traffic jams that ensued last time when we travelled in as one big convoy. We have contacted all the relevant authorities with regards to our plans.
Honk for Hope UK’s aim is to raise awareness of the devastating effect COVID-19 has had on the coach industry. It hopes for government support to help the industry through what is affectively an 18 month winter.
The second London rally was planned for August, but is postponed to its current date to ensure it happens while MPs are back from Parliament’s summer recess.
