Hearns joins the Guild of British Coach Operators
The Guild of British Coach Operators has welcomed Hearns Coaches into membership, following Hearns application and the passing an exacting audit.
Hearns is one of the largest and most respected coach operators in the UK with a modern fleet of 64 coaches based in Watford and Harrow.
Manging Director, Jamie Thacker, said: “We are delighted to be joining the Guild, at a time when quality is ever more important. Our membership will be invaluable in working with like-minded members, sharing best practice and as a force for good in our industry.”
Chairman of the Guild, Anthony Winson, has recently taken on the role from Andy Pulham, following Andy’s two-year term. Anthony is a director at Paul S Winson Coaches and runs the business with his brothers. He welcomed Hearns: “I am so pleased to welcome Jamie and Hearns into membership as my first task as Chairman, they are a good fit within our unique organisation, and I look forward to working with them and our other members.”
The Guild of British Coach Operators has 25 members, all of whom are regularly audited to maintain the highest standards of service and operation. It provides mutual support for members and meets regularly to share best practice, with forums also for engineering, operations, marketing and training. Membership is open to coach operators who can demonstrate a commitment to exacting standards and open to sharing best practice.
