Hadrian’s Wall bus returns
Go North East has been chosen to operate this year’s Hadrian’s Wall Bus Service. The AD122 bus has been running every day and will continue to do so until Easter Monday. From then, it will operate every weekend until the end of May stepping up to run every day throughout the summer. For the Easter period and spring weekends, it links Hexham and Haltwhistle with Chesters, Housesteads, Once Brewed, Vindolanda and Walltown Roman Army Museum. It is running this year thanks to a new partnership between the Hadrian’s Wall Trust, Northumberland County Council, Northumberland National Park and Go North East. The Go-Ahead owned operator will also provide a range of through tickets, connecting the AD122 with its TEN, Tynedalexpress and Tynedale Links services through Hexham Bus Station and providing links from Newcastle, Prudhoe and the Tyne Valley.
