Goodbye Piccadilly

London Transport Museum is launching a new exhibition, entitled ‘Goodbye Piccadilly – from Home Front to Western Front’, at a Friday Late event on 16 May from 18.45 to 22.00. The showcase focuses on the social change accelerated by the outbreak of the First World War. The evening includes a bar, music, talks, tours, make-and-take sessions and a 1914 style quiz. It includes a perfumery talk with Sarah McCartney of ‘4160 Tuesdays’, the launch of author, Prof. Jerry White’s book ‘Zeppelin Nights – London in the First World War’, men’s Edwardian style grooming sessions and sessions with Lulu O’Neil of Slightly Scarlett, who will be demonstrating feather fascinators.
