Go-Ahead results

Despite saying its regional bus division has seen good growth in revenue in the first quarter of the year (29 June 2014 to 20 October 2014), Go-Ahead Group said commercial and concessionary passenger numbers are broadly flat year on year, particularly in the north east. Its first quarter revenue growth rate was 5%, according to its latest Interim Report.

In its London bus division, revenue growth of around 5% was achieved, which it says has been driven by the reallocation of BSOG of 4.9%. Mileage operated fell in line with expectations, following the previous year’s good growth on the back of contract wins. Overall, trading across the Group was described as ‘robust’ and its expectations for the full year are unchanged.
