German coach operators take to the streets
Coach operators have held a demonstration in Dresden to draw attention to their threatened situation due to the coronavirus restrictions, according to press reports from the country.
Similar to the UK, German operators are off the roads due to the coronavirus pandemic. The demonstration saw 50 coaches parade to the state parliament, where they delivered the industry’s demands. The operators are seeking a time plan for when restrictions to the travel industry can be lifted. They also seek emergency financial aid.
