FlixBus promotes Rukia to newly created role
FlixBus has promoted Rukia Ali to the newly created role of Stations Manager at London’s Victoria Coach Station.
Rukia, originally from Djibouti, has lived in London for over ten years, and will take on this new role to manage the company’s expanding footprint in the capital.
Having worked for FlixBus since December 2021, Rukia is responsible for customer experience. In her new role, she will continue to oversee national and international journeys from the station, liaising with drivers and operations staff from across the UK, France and Benelux and supporting passengers as they travel. In addition, she will mentor and manage the team of FlixBus customer service agents, as well as working closely with coach operators and TfL to ensure an efficient and smooth service across the network.
Having spent a number of years also living in the Netherlands, Rukia is fluent in Dutch, while the wider team at Victoria Coach Station speaks a total of nine languages.

Rukia was profiled as a key agent at the station for TfL’s 90th anniversary celebration of Victoria Coach Station in 2022.
