FlixBus promotes Francesca Hand to Senior Ops Manager
FlixBus is promoting Francesca Hand to the role of Senior Operations Manager.
Originally from London, Francesca has a Master’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering and has acted as Operations Manager at FlixBus since October 2022.
In her new role, Francesca will work alongside several of FlixBus’s operator partners, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to passengers.
Speaking about her promotion, Francesca said: “Being part of the FlixBus team for the last two years has been a whirlwind of excitement, travel and growth, and I know the next phase of network expansion is going to be the most impressive yet.
“We have a unique mix of cutting-edge technology and data analysis at Flix, and local knowledge from our partners. I’m looking forward to working even more closely with operators to ultimately provide the best service possible for our passengers.”
During her time at FlixBus, Francesca has led key projects including the successful introduction of FlixBus services to bus stations in Bristol and Leeds, as well as branding Heathrow and Bristol Airports. She has also been responsible for the team of station agents at London Victoria Coach Station.
The majority female operations team at FlixBus in the UK is led by Hayley Russell. She said: “Francesca’s eye for detail, hands-on approach to problem-solving, and exceptional ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders have been invaluable to our success.
