Flixbus comes to the UK

Germany-based Flixbus is now operating coach services within the UK.

The operator began services connecting Birmingham, Bristol, Portsmouth and London at the start of this month. It is also re-opening its lines between the UK and the European mainland. The company aims to add more destinations over the coming weeks. Fares start at £2.99.

Currently, only window seats are available on its services to enable passengers to comply with social distancing. It has also published details on its website of its cleaning regime in light of the coronavirus pandemic. This includes disinfecting its vehicles after each ride in accordance with WHO guidelines, additional disinfection of key touchpoints, toilets cleaned regularly and the vehicle will be ventilated before and after every each ride. Further procedures are in place to ensure the safety and health of its passengers and staff.
