First’s employee Excellence Awards

FirstBus has launched its new employee ‘Excellence Awards’ nationwide. This follows the success of its annual internal award event in its operations in north England. Events planned in July in Stirling, Leeds and Reading. The awards are designed to reward and recognise teams and colleagues who ‘live the company’s values’ and go the extra mile. Colleagues were invited to submit nominations throughout the spring across 13 different categories. Appearing at the events will be Olympic gold medalist Sally Gunnell, Scottish rugby legend Gavin Hastings and Look North news anchor, Harry Gration. The award events take place on 9 July in Stirling, 22 July in Leeds and 31 July in Reading.
