First supports Southampton Pride

First Bus is celebrating and supporting diversity by bringing one of its double-decker Pride buses to Southampton Pride on 27 August. Painted in the bright colours of the pride flag, the First Pride bus represents positivity, peace, pride and diversity, and carries the phrase ‘We’re bursting with Pride, everyone’s welcome on our buses’.

While in Southampton and throughout August, the Pride bus will be in service on First’s City Red 3 between Lordshill, Southampton General Hospital, Shirley, Southampton Central Station, City Centre, Woolston and Thornhill.

Mark Lovell, Operations Managers at City Red said: “We wanted to support Southampton Pride as well as the whole Pride community across the UK, as we are allied in their mission to promote equality and diversity. We also have many other Pride buses that are travelling to events across the UK.”
