First purchases Webbers Coaches

First Kernow has purchased various assets and contracts from Webbers Coaches, a small operation in Cornwall. The transaction was completed on 5 January and includes the lease of the existing depot in Bodmin, a number of school contracts operated on behalf of Cornwall Council, four of the vehicles used by the business and the transfer by TUPE of seven employees. Webber’s fleet consists of three Dennis Javelins, two with UVG bodies and one bodied by Plaxton, as well as a Dennis Dart MPD. The vehicles are being taken into the First Kernow fleet, with the majority used in the operation of the former Webber held contracts for Cornwall Council.
