First glimpses of Oxford’s new electric Wrightbuses

Go-Ahead’s Oxford Bus Company has unveiled the first electric vehicles for the services provided in partnership with Oxford Brookes University. B&CB’s David Cole was at the launch to take these stunning images and get the full low-down on the new buses.

In the distinctive Brookes Bus branding, the 21 low-height Wrightbus Streetdeck Electroliners are all expected to enter service before Christmas and mark the first step in Oxford’s road to becoming an electric bus city.
