First Cymru ‘Better Journey Card’

First Cymru has officially launched the Better Journey and Safe Journey cards. The documents are designed in consultation with charities and groups representing bus users. The Safe Journey card was originally unveiled in 2009, giving older people a way of asking for extra assistance on the bus. It has now been redesigned with a refreshed look for 2014. The Better Journey card is a new product that has been developed in consultation with disability groups. The card is intended to give those with disabilities a way of easily making the bus driver aware of any special assistance they may need, customised to each users’ individual needs, with space given for people to write in their own message.
