Euro6 CNG coach from Gaz Group

Russian Commercial Vehicle manufacturer, GAZ Group, has unveiled a Euro6 CNG Cruise coach at Mir Avtobusov trade show in Russia. Other exhibits included a small bus, ‘Vector Next’ and a large low-floor city bus LIAZ-529265, powered by a Euro5 compliant YMZ diesel engine.

The Cruise CNG bus is built under the GAZ brand at Likino Bus Plant on a Scania chassis and conforms to international standards related to safety, emissions and comfort. The 47 seat coach for intercity and tourist transport operations has a 1200litres total gas capacity giving an operating range of 600km (Approximately 373 miles). It features soft pneumatic suspension, anti-roll bars on the front and rear axles and an electronic control system with the body lifting and lowering capability, climate control, an on-board computer, cruise control, ESP and anti-rollover protection systems, uphill and downhill assist systems and a TV/video combination. Further options are available.

A version designed for northern regions features additional thermal insulation of the side panels, roof and floor as well as radiator and front heater protection and additional heaters in the passenger and driver’s compartments.
