Enviro400 order is a first for Stephensons of Essex
Alexander Dennis has taken a new order from Stephensons of Essex for five Enviro400 double-deckers.
The new buses will be the first on Alexander Dennis chassis for the operator. They are to join similar buses on third-party chassis as well as a large number of Enviro200 single-deckers in the operator’s 100-vehicle fleet.
The new Enviro400 will each have 86 seats fitted with USB charging ports. They are expected to be delivered later this year.
Stephensons of Essex remains locally owned, locally managed and a proud active member of the ALBUM association of independent bus operators. Founded in 1972, it now provides local bus routes and school services in Essex, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.
