Entertainment-themed coach breaks driving demand

Entertainment-themed coach breaks around the UK are playing a key role in driving sales for 2022, reports National Holidays.

Covering everything from live music concerts and musicals to tribute acts and entertainment shows such as Cirque du Soliel, the operator expects its ‘Showtime’ breaks to be one of its best performing programmes for this year. There are currently over 100 options on sale, with more being added constantly.

Last week, National Holidays launched new packages to see Rod Stewart this December, live in Birmingham. Over half of them have already sold and the operator is busy securing additional tickets to ensure no sales opportunities are missed.

Theatre breaks continue to be a key seller for National Holidays, which reports it regularly sees over 20 coaches travel to London from its four key sales regions for these.

“It’s really clear that many customers are keen to return to enjoying live shows and events after so many have been cancelled over the last couple of years, due to Covid” – Matthew Herbert, commercial director at National Holidays

Matthew Herbert, commercial director at National Holidays, said: “This is the first year that we’ve been able to offer a full programme of entertainment breaks and we have some great products available. It’s really clear that many customers are keen to return to enjoying live shows and events after so many have been cancelled over the last couple of years, due to Covid. I have no doubt that all our packages will sell out, if they haven’t done so already, and our teams are continually working hard to ensure we secure tickets for any newly announced shows and events that will appeal to our customers.”
