Ensign brings festive cheer

Ensignbus decided to bring some festive cheer to children in the Southend and Leigh On Sea areas. The operator enlisted the help of Santa to deliver presents to the kids on a festively decorated and lit-up open top Routemaster during the evening of Friday 18 December.

Director, Ross Newman, said: “We met some great people during the summer via our open top 68 service (Southend – Leigh On Sea) and wanted to do something special for them and others in what has and continues to be a very difficult year for so many people.”

The special bus with Santa visited the amazing ‘Southend Mencap Showstoppers’ and a number of other local children with the bus being spotted in a number of roads around the area.
