Employees celebrate 845 years of service
First West of England has recognised 29 of its staff who have a combined service record of 845 years working for the operator. A further seven other employees were recognised at the ceremony for ‘going the extra mile’, whilst a special award for outstanding achievement was bestowed upon Martin ‘Trigger’ Rogers for his continual efforts to raise morale amongst drivers, while raising funds for charity.
MD for First West of England, Paul Matthews said, ‘We have an incredible array of people in our business who have devoted much of their professional lives to delivering bus services for people in the West of England. It is important to take a moment to celebrate achievements like this and a real honour for me to present certificates to such loyal staff.’
