Electroliners to make London route 306 fully electric
Wrightbus Electroliners are rolling out on London’s route 306 on 13 April 2024. The route will be served completely by electric buses.
The operator, Transport UK London Bus (formerly known as Abellio London), is expanding its zero-emission fleet across its six depots, all of which are now enabled for EV routes. They are the first operator to achieve this in London.
Route 306 is to run from the operator’s Battersea depot.
The new Electroliners have high-back seats throughout and USB chargers and mobile phone holders are featured in the seats.
Alastair Willis, Head of Commercial, Transport UK London Bus, said: “We are delighted to mobilise Route 306 as a fully EV service on behalf of Transport for London. These new state-of-the-art buses will give our customers cleaner and more comfortable journeys.”
