Electric coach for Showbus

UK’s first electric coach will be at Showbus. The vehicle, a Yutong TCe12, will be displayed courtesy of its operator, Westway Coach Services. Rides on the coach will be available.
Showbus takes place on 29 September at Hertfordshire County Showground between 9.30am and 5pm. The 47th edition of the event will see a record gathering of pre-1960 buses. Two 1921 buses are expected, including a London General S Type. Among the newer buses will be an Optare Metrodecker EV electric bus and one of Nottingham City Transport’s (NCT’s) gas buses. Arriva is to run its SX Showbus Express half hourly between Luton Interchange and the show via the busway, Dunstable and Luton Parkway.
