Eight Futuras for Weaverway

Weaverway Travel (trading as Tappins Coaches Ltd), of Didcot, Oxfordshire, has recently taken delivery of eight new 13.14m VDL Futura FHD2 131.410MX coaches. They are powered by a DAF Paccar 410bhp MX Euro5 engine matched to a ZF 12AS2001 AS-Tronic transmission with a ZF Intarder. Specifications on each include ABS and ASR traction control, 57/59 Vogel Conturo leather trimmed seats, an air conditioning system, a fridge, a reversing camera, an entertainment package and a Spheros pre-heater. There is provision for future retrofit of a toilet compartment.
