Easter bus gift for Cumbria

The Cumbria Easter Rally took place on Easter Saturday and Sunday bringing a wide variety of PCVs and commercial vehicles to Kirkby Stephen and Brough. A frequent free service ran between the two towns that normally only see a single service every day. A popular vehicle with visitors was this Huddersfield Daimler CVG6-30 with East Lancs bodywork, captured here by David Cole turning outside Kirkby Stephen church. It took part in the evening road run ascending onto the high plateaus above the Eden Valley proving glorious views, much to the enjoyment of a full passenger load!
