East Lothian’s first birthday
Lothian Buses is celebrating the first birthday of its East Lothian Buses brand. A year after introducing service 113 from Pencaitland and Ormiston to the city centre, the route has been hailed a success. The rural operation has its own distinctive livery on a fleet of modern low floor single deckers. Since its launch on 11 June 2012, extra journeys have been added at peak times due to demand on the route.
Operations Manager of Lothian Buses, George McKendrick, said, ‘It has been a pleasure over the last 12 months building a relationship with the people of East Lothian. We look forward to growing the business and enhancing the service we provide in the area.’
