Driver shortage requires TfGM minibus cover

Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) is running minibuses to cover several bus routes in Rochdale until the end of July.

The bus routes are usually operated by Transdev-owned Rosso, but a lack of drivers means the operator finds itself in a temporary position where it cannot provide services on all of the routes.

Despite the cover from the local transport authority, the operator is still running most of its services.

The R1/R8, R9/R10 and 457 services operated by Rosso are being replaced in the evenings by Local Link until Saturday 23 July, with regular services resuming on Sunday 24 July.
