Doigs’ first Integral i6

Doigs of Glasgow has taken delivery of its first two DAF powered Integral i6 coaches. The pair are 12.9m 57-seaters and are delivering good economy and showing how flexible they can be in a largely urban operation, according to the operator. Doigs specified half-leather seats and seatback tables, plus the standard hot drinks console, as well as a whole raft of ‘extras’ that come as standard on the i6 Integral. The coaches join a fleet of 20 vehicles engaged in a variety of contract, corporate and private hire work, serving the Glasgow area.

Director, Iain Forsyth, said, ‘The attraction was getting 57-seats with good legroom on two axles. They have plenty of luggage space and, more importantly, are popular with our customers.’

Irizar UK supplied the coaches.
