D&G opens new depot
D&G Bus has opened a new depot exactly ten years after it started operating from a small depot in Crewe with eight buses. The new site houses 48 buses and over 100 staff. It was officially opened by the Mayor of the Borough of Cheshire East, Cllr Wesley Fitzgerald and the Mayoress, Joan Fitzgerald. The facility has a rolling road and brake tester, plus well equipped and well lit servicing bays. According to the company, the opening of the new depot provides security to the business and an ‘excellent foundation’ from which to take the business forward in the years ahead.
In the last 12 months, D&G Bus has also invested over £600,000 in buses. MD of D&G Bus, David Reeves, said, ‘A big well done to all our staff who have helped D&G on our journey and on to our arrival here today.’
