Devon link road nears completion

A new link road in Devon between Newton Abbot’s Penn Inn roundabout and Torquay’s Kerswell gardens bypassing the bottleneck of Kingskerswell on the A380 is nearing completion. The new road will formally be known as the South Devon Highway and it is expected to be in use by December with landscaping to continue into the New Year. The 5.5km link road costing £110m should make life much easier for coach operators visiting Torquay and Paignton.
