Delta Coaches takes its first Irizar i6s Efficient

An Irizar Integral i6s Efficient has joined the fleet at Delta Coaches based in Teeside. The new coach is the first of its kind to join the company.

The 12.9m, 53-seat coach is specified to PSVAR standards, featuring destination signage provided by Hannover to the front, side and rear of the vehicle and a Masat wheelchair lift, mounted in the luggage compartment.

Onboard entertainment is provided by the Bosch Smart Series audio-visual system and Actia DVD player and two monitors fitted in the front and centre of the saloon.

USB charging points and seat-back tables are fitted throughout the coach, along with a washroom and an onboard drinks machine.

Propelled by a 408hp DAF MX11 OBD-E engine coupled to ZF’s EcoLife Coachline six-speed fully-automatic gearbox.
